Anne of Green Gables - The Ballet™ is a playful, colourful and evocative new production from Canada’s Ballet Jörgen that is sure to delight audiences of all ages. It’s a wonderful balletic adaptation based on the beloved Canadian novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Audiences will be transported to early 20th century Atlantic Canada following the adventures of Anne Shirley, an orphan girl sent to live on a farm in the fictional town of Avonlea, Prince Edward Island. Dancers bring the story to life using artistic movement and theatrical dance to showcase the humour, drama and simple beauty of this treasured story.
